Unseen But Unbroken
The world keeps spinning around,
A cycle of birth, pain, and death bound,
Defeat the body, defeat the mind, we can’t,
Even when life seems incomplete,
With a heart that beats red blood,
Every breath we take, a miracle granted,
Our fragile skin feels pain, warmth, and sorrow,
We long to see, to shout our name,
To hear our voices in the air,
We want to run, want to walk, want to fly,
And reach out with two hands,
To shape the dreams in our minds.
But still, we strive, keep fighting on,
Refuse to back down, even when rights are withdrawn,
If we had a choice, in where we’re born,
We’d want to come whole, not feeling forlorn.
But in this world, we walk opposite paths,
Each of us made by unseen hands,
Destinies written, who can understand?
Even if not equal to others,
Legs that can’t stand, hands that can’t rise,
Eyes that stay shut, ears deaf to cries,
We’re human beings, our worth still shines.
We dream to stand tall, to shout and sing,
To listen to our hearts, to run free and swing,
To have two hands, for building our dreams,
Even if fate draws limits, we’ll defy the extremes.
Some of us can’t stand tall, some hands can’t reach,
Eyes closed forever, ears hear no speech,
We didn’t choose to be a burden or strain,
But we still have a soul, we still remain.
We want to be seen, want to be heard,
Our voices are real, every whisper, every word,
We want to break free, to soar in the sky,
And build with our hands, dreams we won’t let die.
And though we’re not equal in form,
Legs that falter, hands that can’t perform,
The world keeps spinning around,
A cycle of birth, pain, and death bound,
Defeat the eyes, defeat the mind, we can’t,
Even when life seems incomplete,
With a heart that beats red blood,
Every breath we take, a miracle granted,
Our fragile skin feels pain, warmth, and sorrow,
We long to see, to shout our name,
To hear our voices in the air,
We want to run, want to walk, want to fly,
To shape the dreams in our minds.
But still, we strive, keep fighting on,
Refuse to back down, even when rights are withdrawn,
If we had a choice, in where we’re born,
We’d want to come whole, not feeling forlorn.
But in this world, we walk opposite paths,
Each of us made by unseen hands,
Destinies written, who can understand?
But still, we strive, keep fighting on,
Refuse to back down, even when rights are withdrawn.
The walls grow higher, the nights feel cold,
Dreams fade away as we grow old.
But deep inside, the flame won’t die,
Hope’s quiet whisper lifts us high.
But still, we strive, keep fighting on,
Refuse to back down, even when rights are withdrawn.
If only the world was fair and kind,
A place where no one’s left behind.
But roads diverge, and choices fade,
We walk the paths that fate has made.
And though we’re not equal in form,
Legs that falter, hands that can’t perform,
Eyes that close, ears that can’t respond,
We’re more than our bodies; our spirits go beyond.
For we are human, no less, no more,
A voice of the unseen, let our hearts roar!
