Whispers in the Wind

The wind once brought you to my side,
Like fate upon a gentle tide.
Your smile arrived with morning’s breeze,
And set my restless soul at ease.
But winds, they shift and fade away,
And you were gone by break of day.
Now every gust, I breathe you in,
A ghostly touch upon my skin.

Through crowded streets and endless skies,
I search for you with tearful eyes.
The wind meets faces, hearts, and hands,
Yet never brings you back again.
I whisper wishes to the air,
That you might feel how much I care.
My heart repeats your name each night,
While waiting for the wind’s delight.

Oh breeze, you’ve danced through time and place,
You’ve touched her hair, you’ve kissed her face.
Please turn around and find your way,
And bring her back to me someday.

Whispers in the wind, carry my love,
Float through the stars and skies above.
To her heart, let my voice ring true,
Tell her I still believe in you.
Every sigh and every gust,
Is filled with hope, is filled with trust.
Until she stands in front of me,
I’ll send my soul through winds set free.

I’ve kept each promise, every vow,
They echo in the evening now.
Though time moves on and seasons pass,
My love remains as strong as glass.
Each leaf that falls, each branch that bends,
Reminds me how this longing ends.
When wind returns with tender grace,
To place her back in my embrace.

Winds may wander, winds may stray,
But dreams don’t simply blow away.
They linger where the memories stay,
And guide the heart that’s lost its way.

Whispers in the wind, don’t fade too fast,
Bring her back from shadows past.
Carry my truth across the skies,
To where her lonely spirit lies.
I’m still here with open arms,
Still reaching out with love and charms.
So blow once more and let love win,
Bring her to me on whispering wind.
